Glas-Denbury provides a platform for people in any way we can. We are passionate about supporting charities, local organisations and the community around us. The festival strives continuously to be of benefit not only to Denbury but the wider community around it. We choose to work with local suppliers, we offer pitches to local traders first and foremost, we provide a platform for local artists, support local charities and give opportunity to students and young people from the area who are our future. Our aim is not only to create enjoyment for everyone who comes to it but to create something lasting for the community and to bring together the myriad of incredible talents the area has to offer, showing what can be achieved when people join together in something positive. We create and work in a small, unique bubble of love.
We are passionate about what we do and why we are doing it and we support people and the community in any way we can, whether that be through sponsorship, ticket donations for fundraising, practical support where necessary and also by giving a free platform to charities from which they can fundraise or raise awareness through a pitch at the festival or through our social media platforms. If you think we can help you in any way please do get in touch?
Below you can find the first of the organisations and charities that we are supporting at Glas-Denbury ’19 as well as info on those that we have been privileged to support and continue to support since we began.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has” Margaret Mead, Anthropologist.
“Kingskerswell Navigators are incredibly proud to now be looking forward to our fourth year of support from Emma and the team at Glas-Denbury. When we first heard about the festival we knew that it shared the same values that are so important to our group. This was confirmed as we entered the arena. The display of colour and the sense of peace whilst being amongst a montage of different artists is something one needs to experience. Glas-Denbury has given us not only the opportunity to fundraise for our charity but has also been a fantastic way to meet people. discuss ideas and expand our brand. We constantly meet people who have come year after year and they all talk about how it has a real safe family atmosphere, something which is also important to our volunteers and young people. I would say there are only two probles with this amazing festival. One being we are so busy that we never get a chance to sneak off and see some of the bands and second that our voluteers never come again as they buy their own tickets and take full opportunity to explore the event themselves. We very much look forward to future years and being a part of not only a great community event but a showcase on how things can be done”
Steve Michaels, Kingskerswell Navigators December 2017

Denbury School PTA will be running a LEGO WALK this year at Glas-Denbury! Will you be brave enough to walk the walk?! Denbury is a small village school in the heart of the country just 3 miles from the market town of Newton Abbot. The original school was built in 1875 and although extended three times since, it still retains its village school ethos. The school is large enough to offer a broad and balanced curriculum whilst being small enough for everyone to be known. The PTA will be running a LEGO WALK this year at Glas-Denbury! Tickets for Troops provides free tickets to members of the Armed Forces for a variety of sporting, musical and cultural events. The service offers serving personnel and those medically discharged from the forces since 2001, the well-deserved opportunity to enjoy an event of their choice with their friends and families. Tickets for Troops continues to benefit from a huge wave of generosity from our ticket donors, patrons and advisory board who provide these fantastic opportunities. We are entirely grateful to them for their loyalty and for demonstrating their on-going support towards the marvellous and dedicated men and women of our Armed Forces.
